ABOUT UNDER THE WILLOW TREE RESCUE INC.
Under the Willow Tree Rescue Inc. is a Perth based non-profit rescue organisation founded in 2023.
Our Mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Birds and other Exotic Animals who have been surrendered, dumped, lost, or neglected. With a dedicated team of Volunteers, Foster Carers and a growing Community, we strive to help as many small companion animals as possible.
Under the Willow Tree Rescue Inc. provides an Adoption Service, as well as support for Foster Carers, assistance to the Community and care for Animals in need.
We believe that every life is worth saving.
The name "Under the Willow Tree" is dedicated to Willow, a male Dwarf Lop Rabbit born in rescue when both his parents were saved after being dumped in the sand dunes of Alkimos Beach on Easter Sunday 2023. Their rescue was the beginning of our journey...
About the Founder
Under the Willow Tree Rescue Inc. was founded by Alex MacNaughton, an English born Perth citizen, who saw the need for assistance in small animal and exotics rescue.
Alex has a passion for animal welfare and education, and a drive to help as many as he can.
Since Alex began the rescue, nearly 400 lives have been saved.
Alex has a menagerie himself of Dogs, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Small Birds, Parrots, Chickens, Lizards, Dragons, Snakes, Geckos and Insects.
